I have a Rinnai gas unit that has been in my house 10 years and have had zero problems with it. I have flushed it out one time. Have an outlet outside the house where I can wash my car with hot water.

Gas is better, cost about 1500-2500 bucks. sometimes gas companies have deal on them. dont run out of hot water
