I'm sure he's a good player and may even turn out to be great. I just don't understand the people acting like he'll be able to carry this "brand" when players already better than anyone expects lonzo to be couldn't do it.

In fairness, it's kinda apples and oranges in a comparison.

I'm not saying it'll work, but you can't compare to anything you've seen or any athlete because this is completely different.

The brand is really banking on the future success of his brothers, I think. It is kind of silly that they marketing 3 potentially really good players as more valuable than one once in a lifetime player, but that appears to be their angle.
