This is pretty asinine. Say you come in with the score tied and one out in the eighth. You get out the inning and your team scores once in the top of the ninth. You then slam the door in the bottom of the inning. Why shouldn't you get the win AND the save?

That's like tossing the ball off the backboard for a dunk and trying to get an assist and 2 points.
