Not really. Closer to Thor or Marvel's Hercules if we're going to pair her with a Marvel character. There are tons of superheroes who had their start during WWII. Cap is one of the few modern day heroes who's stayed tied to his WWII origin.

Wonder Woman didn't disappear after WWII. She kept going. ABC just chose to place her back in WWII for the first part of her TV series before the series switched to present day. She left her WWII comics origin in the dust decades ago. They even retconned it for a while that her mother was the WWII Wonder Woman.
