Others who are throwing out metrics of Lebron's "numbers" defensively aren't isolating them thru Kobe's age 32 year. They are including ages 33-damn near 40, so of course those extra 6-7 yrs or whatever drop those career "numbers" significantly.

Let me guess, those numbers heavily weigh steals & blocks? Enlighten me. How is the formula weighted to account for disciplined man to man defense with a great shot contest ?

Given all these graphics everyone is posting with timespans he specifically brought up, will he move the goalposts or concede he was incorrect?

interesting how you staggered your graph on "Defensive Win Shares" that shows Kobe's #s are better during his peak years at 28-32 than Lebron's....Lebron's was higher only 1 of 4 years w/ that meaningless stat.

Not to mention, with age it's harder to keep up with guards than forwards, which makes it more impressive.
Kobe came off the bench to Eddie Jones his 1st 2 years of course those would be lower.

Y'all bitched about posting highlights, but can't exactly post full games now can I?
Anyone with eyes can see the immense talent Kobe had on D when he needed to turn it on. Held A.I. to 0/10 in 2nd half of Finals game, locked up MJ....

That's why it's ridiculous cherry picking stats- you guys only use them when it suits your argument, but it actually proves mine in several of the years & vs much better competition
