ALS aka Lou Gehrig's disease. It's horrible.

Yes, diseases like ALS are equally horrible. I could have worded my post better, as to not make it sound like one is worse than the other. I pray one day that all of these awful diseases are gone.
As someone who is a Christian, I always try to take comfort in knowing that there will come a time where disease will be no more. It is also important to reach out to people who are dealing with similar things, it really helps you to figure out what you're doing when trying to care for someone who has one of these diseases.
