No one was fired. The series wasn't renewed. That's a pretty big difference.

Just like Kelsey Grammer, right? Boss was cancelled despite really good reviews, and the show wasn't even slanted. Only Grammer was outspoken on politics.

The show was cancelled. That means everyone was fired.

The show was canceled because ratings were poor and dropping significantly.
