Brown is one of the more polarizing colors on a Porsche. People seem to either love it or hate it. A 911 can look absolutely gorgeous in certain shades of brown though.
It's actually one of the more expensive colors. The 'standard' colors are typically white, black, red, and yellow. My 14' C2S is yellow with the ducktail (gets quite a few compliments, while I'm sure others think it's a douchemobile). I say get whatever color you like. If you want neon purple, frick the haters and rock that bad boy

Brian Harris Porsche has a purple GT3 RS right now. It's fine as frick. I've got my eye on an agate grey Cayman S for my next car - love that color.

I could see it. For some reason I've always been a fan since they came out. I like them better than the coupes. I really like the Cayenne, but if I was going to spend that kind of money I'd probably go with a Maserati or something

I agree. I saw the Sport Turismo at the auto show. The hatch balanced out the car and looks better than the sedan.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that specific purple is exclusive to the GT3 RS right now (stunning color, especially on such an aggressive looking car).
You can't go wrong with a Cayman. I haven't driven one of the 718s, but own a 987. If you pick that car up, do yourself a favor and join the PCA. You need to force yourself to do at least one track event in that car, you'll be hooked
