Someone will eventually fold. I don't think they go pat the ASB without landing a TOR. I think too much work and too much money has gone into this roster not to land anyone.
How is the jury still out on a GM that has put together a playoff team roster after walking into a job that EVERYONE knew was a rebuild. A GM that's put this team in position to make a pretty deep run this year. Division championship at MINIMUM for the next 3 years, IMO.
I think his results have been exemplary. Especially considering where we began and a few outs away from an ALCS birth in 2015. Way before anyone thought they would contend. Remember, this is the first year Houston was "supposed" to contend. Not only are they contending, they've started as one of the best teams in baseball and the best start in franchise history. They're going to have to go on a pretty lengthy losing streak or lose a lot of key personnel to injury to get off track here. Honestly, I'm more worried about the law of baseball averages (if that's a thing) than I am Hinch or upper management. At this rate, they'll end up with 115 wins and some people here will STILL be complaining about management. Get over it....and yourselves.
ETA: There's no such thing as perfection. It will never happen and even higher ups make mistakes. Gomez was a terrible one.
