So your impression is that 6th grade baseball is more important than studying for 6th grade finals?

Either way, the parents pay for the season, so pretty much what they say goes.

Yes. Middle School doesn't matter, at all. It's mostly for developing social skills and basic baseline knowledge so they're not bumbling morons when they get to high school. No one wants to see your middle school transcript.
