We agree, I thought Jordan should hit for Slaughter, not Reid, Worley or any of the others because he has the experience and better stats and the pitcher had no breaking ball.
However I do believe PM has failed to develop a couple of guys off the bench as a pinch hitter is a weak spot. We especially could use a decent LH bat in a spot and thought Reid, Breaux or even Adams might be that guy.

I, too, was expecting Jordan there. Adams no. What's odd is how quickly PM gives up on Adams. I was very surprised when he was the one to stick around and not Ducote. Although I understand why Ducote left with Deichmann moving to the OF and Romero getting first crack at DH.
