I do not dismiss what he did last year in the context of last year. You are correct. The facts are that he did well especially in the SEC. But watching his ABs this year has been cringeworthy. He seems to press in the "spot AB" roll. It hasn't been good. And I don't think that means we should be giving him more of those types of opportunities THIS YEAR.

We agree, I thought Jordan should hit for Slaughter, not Reid, Worley or any of the others because he has the experience and better stats and the pitcher had no breaking ball.

However I do believe PM has failed to develop a couple of guys off the bench as a pinch hitter is a weak spot. We especially could use a decent LH bat in a spot and thought Reid, Breaux or even Adams might be that guy.
