Want to look closer at who he got those hits off of?
In other news, I've said very little about his play last year. Other than most of his hits being pointless. My problem is that last year was last year and this year is this year. He's not going to take over a position. So it's DH or spot ABs. He's been really bad there. Vs some pretty bad pitching too. You have last year. I have this year. Guess which is more relevant.

Chris Reid got beat out by s superior athlete, but dismissing what he did last year in SEC is not looking at facts.
With LSU hurting at third, he provided a solid, steady glove and surprised at the plate.
In SEC play, he hit 337(8th in the league) and 313 in the regionals. His on base percentage in SEC play only was sixth in the league at 455.
And no, he hasn't adjusted to coming off the bench, but who else has? No body and that's something that has hurt us all year.

I remember him turning around Logan Shore, for one. I mean all of those hits and walks were against guys who pitched for SEC staffs ranked in the top 5 in ERA in the conference.
