You're the guy who wanted Beau and first and Ried to DH. Saying that Beau played 1B last year.

And you made that thread on 3/31. Where were you the first half of the season?

This is sad.

I'll wait...

No you weren't. It's not a Slaughter problem. It's a coaching problem

I dint often think the coach is the probkem, but when I do I think it's Gibbs and the way our hitters have regressed

So you had to attend catholic high cause your not on here bashin Romero who is just as bad and his ab cost us more than slaughter!!! All he had to do was put ball in play in outfield. By the way his avg is just as bad as slaughter. Difference is he is not a freshman!!!! Can't expect a kid with 2 ab in last 3 weeks to bat in that situation terrible coaching move not to pinch hit

B/S. Slaughter is most definitely struggling, but all this negativity and anger being sent his way is wrong. A decent, half intelligent coach would not keep putting him in these positions and destroy his confidence, but would work with him, along with a competent hitting coach(which LSU certainly does not have)to teach and bring the youngster along. This is a coaching problem, both in decision making and player development. Hell, in the eighth, LSU had bases loaded with one out and still managed to blow it. Slaughter was not the only issue. This team does have some talent, but CPM and his fantastic staff can't do anything with it.

Perfectly put! It's not slaughter, as a coach u can not put him in that situation. This is all on the coaching staff which has piss poor decision making. Has pawl ever tried to bunt a runner home from 3rd? I've seen ull do it at least 4 times this year and have never been close to getting thrown out. What does pawl teach? He had same situation in the UNO game and could've bunted the winning run home but didn't. how many times have we needed a run with bases loaded and less than 2 outs this year and popped up or struck out. Try something different. This is the most frustrating lsu baseball team I've ever watched to execute simple plays. Last night slaughter should not be pinch running for Coomes if your gonna do that use your fastest player in Breaux. His moves make no since and when it was Slaughters turn to bat you pinch hit with Beau or Woley that look for fast balls. If u tied it up you have Woley to play 1st in the 10th and a good bat still in the lineup. pawl and his coaches are on cruise control and this team plays like them. Big lack of fire and passion. Hell at least Smoke would show some fire.

OP and his arguements just make my head hurt

Like the above to posters explained this isn't on Slaughter, it's the coaching (lack of coaching) to make adjustments with his swing. Last night was also an extremely huge gamble sending the teams biggest strikeout risk up against Johnson and seeing him swing for home runs at his eye level.

I bet you were right on K Rob too.
Lighten up Francis.
If you want to rag on someone rag on Paul.
Paul put this kid in a really bad position last night.
