If Delpit and Stevens play, I just hope the coaching staff realizes we still have Eric Monroe. He is a beast.
The depth we have at safety is kinda ridiculous. A lot of mouths to feed back there.

Todd Harris is still going to enroll.... man there's a TON of talent

The talent and depth we have in the secondary is scary good...the fact that in the upcoming 2018 recruiting class LSU could possibly bring in the top 3 corners and two top 5 safeties ranked nationally at their positions in the 247 composite is even more incredible....that's not even counting the other potential add-ons that only happen to be top 15 to 20 guys at their given positions as well....LSU secondary will be a completely dominating force that will be practically impossible to throw against for many years to come...we might have some early season growing pains this upcoming season, but I have no doubt the group ends up a top five unit in pass yards given up. And yes, Delpit will be a starter by seasons end, and Stevens will be a game one starter next year. Regardless both guys will see the field a lot this season. Also, don't count out Eric Monroe playing a lot of football as well. The crazy thing is despite how competitive the cornerbacks battles for playing time will be...the more talented set of guys are the safeties, they are all just very young and inexperienced, given some game time, these freshmen will be unstoppable by mid season.
