I'm not wasting my time looking up weights but Eric Gordon put on solid muscle this past off-season. Probably the biggest reason he's not getting hurt.

He's a lot healthier and probably learned some of James Harden's secrets to getting to the rim/line as well.

And no-one on this board would say that Alvin is a better coach than D'antoni. He (D'antoni) loves three point shooters, Eric is a good three point shooter. Alvin had no idea of how to use anyone in his first year. He had AD shooting five threes a game or some shite ffs. I don't blame him for leaving.

He obviously didn't give a shite about his conditioning down here or we told him to stay lean and not put on muscle so his knee could heal (both are feasible).

If what was rumored was true and we had the option of keeping Gordon if Dunn was drafted then you could say letting Eric leave started the wheels on getting Cousins, because Vivek coveted Buddy. Crazy to think about.

Some people will disagree with me for their reasons, but I will say it like it really is and that is Eric Gordon never really wanted to be in New Orleans. He hated it when the Clippers traded him there and made it known when he arrived. He may have warmed up after awhile and saw that it wasn't such a bad city as his spoiled prima donna arse thought it would be, but he still never really made a serious effort to wanna be there in both his play there and attitude. He wanted to bolt for Phoenix immediately when opportunity came and was pissed when they matched Phoenix's offer to keep him.

So, he basically had this lackadaisical attitude when they didn't let him go to Phoenix with how he played in New Orleans. He did not play hard and as I said basically used them to get healthy with these series of bizarre injuries. On the end he finally lived up to the big money they were paying him, but it was to little to late as he basically alienated the fans against him. People were glad to see his arse go, he made really good money in that contract and did not deserve it, screw him. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Holliday will be back either, he's another one to me that just seems like he doesn't wanna be in New Orleans.
