Of course not.

We HAVE to blame Trump and his DOJ.

Even though they had very little if anything to even do with the investigation.

The bottom line is this: Nothing outside of a decision that the DOJ planed to not only indict the officers, but skip a trial all together and lock them away for life while also giving every member of Sterling's extended family at six figure monetary settlement would have been "acceptable". They were/are going to be angry at the DOJ, Trump, etc. anyway. Quit trying to rationalize what/who they should be angry at. It's an exercise in futility.
