I kept hearing them too. It's just the MS170 that is on sale. That's what I bought for $159. Haven't used to enough to form a good opinion but I think I'm gonna like it..

My MS170 is getting close to 10 years old. It was all I had for a good while and I worked the shite out of it splitting firewood to help pay for college. It's a great little machine. I still put more hours on it than I put on my big saw.
