The snakes dont bother me. I'm just worried about my kids and very small dog.

I had a baby copperhead in my pool last year. The skins I've found were garter and rat snake skin. 3ft was the longest one. Don't have pics. I have found 6 snake skins in two weeks.

I use to have two stray cats hangout on my property but I havent seen them in a while.

The only thing I could think of is that I have tons of lizards.

My bet is on rats/mice. Cats and snakes hanging out. You might want to call an exterminator and have him put out some of those rat baits. Much safer than "snake repellent" for the kids and dog. Once the rats are gone, you won't see snakes around, I'd bet.

My neighbor moved and left 3 outside cats. Come get them, put them in your back yard and problem solved. They are sweet cats but do hunt.
