Found several snake skins around my pool/landscape area. Can someone suggest a snake repellent or any other product that actually works?

Pics of snakes found?
Only real snake repellent that works is removing the food/prey supply. Most will tell you that the commercial repellents do not work, and specifically do not work on Cottonmouths. I'm not sure if they claim to work on copperheads. Those are really the only ones you should worry about. If you have other "large" snakes like rat snakes, there is a reason. I'll let you figure that out.
Also, the commercial "repellents" are usually harmful if ingested by other animals, such as pets. So, you have that to think about.

It's just the food chain in action.
I leave a light on so I don't step on a snake by the back door. But...
Light attracts bugs which attract toads which attract copperheads and cotton mouths..
Just gotta stay cautious.. they usually won't bite if your just walking by. I killed some last summer that I know must have had 10 people walk right past. It's when you step right on them or reach your hand in their flower pot you have a problem
