You guys made great points about Atlanta and Carolina losing key coaches. And Carolina has to face the Fortyniners as well as the Bills. There is at least one loss due to coaching. Shanahan coached Atlanta but he knows the NFC South.

We have 4 tough games to open the season. We might start off slow and not look very good on defense. I will blame that on inexperience because we will have alot of new pieces on defense. All new LBs, and 2 rookie safeties in the secondary. By week 5 if we are nearly injury free, we should start ptting something together in the next 3 quarters of football.

All those saying 8 or less doesnt make sense. I mean we sucked the last 3 years, changed the entire coaching staff, and got alot of depth and playmakers if they stay healthy. We sucked arse last year and all that might be only worth one more win? Im not buying that. I am not ready to say 10-6 or SB but 9 wins is perfectly reasonable.

Just two rookies in the secondary not safeties. And I wouldn't say we changed our entire coaching staff up. We got rid of guys that no longer needed to be here and hired some good ones in their place. Nolan was a shite head coach and maybe a shite D.C. But he can coach the hell out of some LBs.

Nielsen is a younger guy that might not help scheme wise but he will insert some youthful energy to the staff and he's got to be hungry to prove himself coming from NC State. He should do well. Getting Curtis Johnson back as WR coach was huge too and underrated. He was here from 06-11.

Idk anything about the ST guy.
