The LPGA Tour has a marketing issue - they push out the Americans as much as possible - but the Far East players are just dominate right now.
It is bad when you have a title sponsor that has invested significant amounts of time, money and resources into an event and the winner's English is so bad that there is no quality post round interview / celebration, etc.
A few years ago the LPGA was pushing English hard on the players - and many of them took grasping English very seriously.
The translators are helpful but you lose the emotional connection with the player.
