Whenever one team picks a player that means every other team in the league passed on him as well. Why do the Saints get singled out by LSU fans and why do the Saints fans that also like LSU get butt hurt about it? There are plenty of LSU players I wish were on the Saints but most of them the Saints were not in position to draft. I really wanted Duke Riley in particular but he got taken one pick before the Saints could take him. It's tough but that's the way it goes.

Because the saints have several year history under these guys doing shitty in the draft.
Payton said they were going to pick mahomes. That changed when the chiefs traded up. I'm all for grooming a QB, but you passed on LSU and a number of other guys to take greyson, you know a QB that was supposed to be groomed. I said that day, he would never start a game for the saints. It was a wasted fricking pick.
