let's revisit this thread at the end of the season, and see what ended up being more important

how in the frick cold you even make that comparison?

we evidently are great in the secondary now

never said that

we're a lot better than we were a few days ago, though

so if we finish in the top 16 vs. the pass, considering we don't have shite as far as a pass rush, then you were right.

that is utterly retarded and doesn't take randomness into account or the fact that you don't draft for 2017 alone

and there is no way to measure your mythical replacement against this. say we drafted rivers instead of analzone, how would we ever know in that hypothetical scenario what the impact would have been? you can't know this.

by the empirical evidence....

at one personnel grouping... but that's not the only thing that goes into a defense... you could blanket every receiver for 4 seconds, but if you give the QB 5, in the NFL he WILL find the open receiver... but if you can cut down the amount of time the QB has to find an open man, then you don't have to cover the receivers as long....

a pass rush is much, much more important in today's NFL... just like a passing game is much, much more important than a run game... teams with great QBs do well, while teams with shitty QBs don't.... it's pretty simple.... to win, you need to have a good QB and a good ability to get to the opposing QB... period
