No. Every chain restaurant and convenience store carries theft insurance and has procedures to dissuade would-be robbers (like emptying the register when it has too much money in it. Filing an insurance claim is a lot easier than dealing with a lawsuit if your employee rights back and gets someone shot over a few bucks.
