Cooks was far from "one dimensional", he could be effective running the entire route tree. Now if you had said Robert Meachem or Joe Morgan, I'd agree. Those type of guys will give you low catch totals and will normally have high yards per catch averages.

Cooks is not one dimensional himself. But combining a short WR with a short QB creates a much more one dimensional situation as the route tree becomes compressed. Cooks was very good in Nola but will probably be even better in NE with Brady. This is probably a case of good trade for both teams involved.
