LOVE IT.

AD and DB are certainly happy with turning a one dimensional WR into a road grader to replace an aging vet, possibly giving us the top oline in the league.

Agree. The limitations of midget QB throwing to midget WR are real. Which forced us to use cooks in a more one dimensional way. We needed a young, highly graded OT and got it. Being able to turn cooks, who was limited in this offense with Brees, into a potential 10 year starter at OT is a no brainer.

Cooks was far from "one dimensional", he could be effective running the entire route tree. Now if you had said Robert Meachem or Joe Morgan, I'd agree. Those type of guys will give you low catch totals and will normally have high yards per catch averages.

We ain't Dallas, but our o-line will be really good. Not only do we have two above average running backs, our aging QB now gets hit less and has to throw less keeping him healthier. This team has the potential to be the Cowboys last year, but better.
