Why do liberals spend so much of their time trying to convince others that their ideals are accepted and mainstream?

Lost subscribers =/= lost viewership. I think you are focusing on the wrong metrics. It seems like a lot of people aren't big fans of recent programming choices by the network.

Exactly but the people who complain about their liberal agenda driving viewer away don't get that lost viewership doesn't mean anything to them.

Yeah, I still pay for their bullshite through a cable package, but I can't stand to watch it anymore. It is only used for live sports in my household. The socio-political bullshite is one big reason why, but certainly not the only one. I would feel the same way if they were constantly pushing the right's agenda, too. If I want to watch that shite, I'll watch a real news channel.

Define recent. The ESPN most seem to want back hasn't been around for nearly 10 years.
