Indeed. It seems like every year we have guys who rise from under the radar too, like Perez and Laureano last year, Martes and Paulino a few years ago, etc

Pretty good draft class this year as well. I would sure like that guy from Vanderbilt. Think he will be gone by 15 though

I'm never too familiar with draft prospects unless we are picking top 5. I do remember jwho and I discussing Tanner Houck of Mizzou last ear as someone to keep an eye on for this year. I think he's projected around or slightly before #15.

Houck is really good. I hope they stay far away from Alex Lange.

Armeteros may be on our rotation before we know it.

Correa is hitting .147 with runners on base. A slightly less impressive .095 w/ RISP.

RISP with two out? He's hitting .000.

At 14-7 with 4 games left this month. I'm hoping for at worst a 2-2 record. Avoid double digit losses in a month as often as possible and we'll be sitting pretty. 16-9 or better for April.

@raford3
Tarp is on. Rain expected to move in & last until around 1st pitch. #Astros have had rain delays in Cleveland every year since moving to AL

Fiers vs. Kluber, eh?

Would also allow for Keuchel to start versus Rangers on Monday.

Things to know about this game

• Before Kluber shut out the White Sox and got the better of White Sox ace Jose Quintana on Friday, he had gotten off to a rough start. Through 18 1/3 innings in his first three starts, the right-hander allowed 14 runs (13 earned) on 20 hits, including five home runs. In his career vs. Houston, Kluber has gone 4-3 with a 3.15 ERA and has tallied 50 strikeouts in 40 innings.

• While Kluber is set to make his fifth start, Fiers will be starting for only the fourth time this season. Like Kluber, Fiers has gone through some early struggles. The right-hander has allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on 18 hits with six home runs across 15 innings. In 33 matchups against Fiers, left-handed hitters have collected 11 hits, including three home runs and five RBIs and have posted an OPS of 1.027. Expect the Indians to have a lefty-heavy lineup on Thursday with Lonnie Chisenhall and Abraham Almonte hitting in the bottom third of the order.

• Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and right fielder Teoscar Hernandez were both removed from Tuesday's game after colliding in right field while tracking a fly ball. Hernandez was carted off the field after the play, and he was diagnosed with a left knee contusion. Hernandez was placed on the 10-day disabled list, and utility man Tony Kemp was recalled from Triple-A Fresno. Altuve, who hurt his left shoulder in the collision, did not play on Wednesday but was available to come off the bench if needed.

• During Kluber's three-hit shutout against the White Sox in his most recent outing, a 357-foot Melky Cabrera single was the only one of 18 batted balls against Kluber to have a projected distance of more than 265 feet. Just two other times in the Statcast Era had Kluber allowed so few 300-foot drives in a single game.

Freaking barbaric stadiums without roof. 1933 called, it wants it's rainouts back!

Baseball was meant to be played outdoors. If we get rained out so be it. Cleveland could probably use the rain anyway!

Mets may have lost Cespedes for quite awhile with injury today. Starting pitcher injuries are a problem there, too.

Matt Harvey is gonna be on the trade block. Under control another year after this one.

Yeah, he has to have zero injury problems between now and June when these types of trades start to go down.
