Through out history the leaders of New Orleans have more often than not made the incorrect decision. That is why the city is a third world banana republic. They currently have a 22% murder clearance rate and are focusing their energy on removing the statues. The rest of the country looks at them with amazement as to how they could be so stupid.

Perhaps the only city that has a worse reputation is Detroit. Perhaps.

The rest of the country has been buying plane tickets to come visit. The city will be jammed for the next 10 days. And not a single one of those people is coming for the statues.
