Even for those who believe in such things, and for arguments sake I'll list the taboo one of intelligence, that even 10 IQ points average would not make a difference in the US for possible wealth generation.

Cultural norms are what have been making the difference here.
The biggest of which is children born without 2 parents in the home.

It is easy to correlate that one factor amongst the races in this country, even though it isn't race that is the factor but the cultural acceptance by the races.

Asian
White
Hispanic
Black

Highest to lowest single parent Homes
Black
Hispanic
White
Asian


Those same facts apply to Graduating from High School by the Races which is the second greatest reason people in this country wind up in poverty.

But again...
It isn't the races that make it this way, but is instead the cultures of the groups.
