re: How do white nationalists explain places that are white but totally dysfunctional?

As far as Appalachia goes I think the biggest indicator is being cut of from the rest of society and lack of jobs and proper education in the middle of the mountains. Those that got out headed up the Hillbilly hwy to the industrial north. Those that stayed were more complacent or just didn't have the means to up and leave and probably satisfied with scratching out a living in the mountains and there offspring the same. The cycle continues.
