And I could see it in the 2nd round at the earliest.

LF7 will be long gone by 11, and McCaffery will be long gone by 32. We traded Cooks to improve the defense, so the value would have to be incredible.

And picking up Peterson wouldn't change that outlook imo.


We've added at least 2 new starters on defense along with depth at LB and S. We need a CB#1 or 2 across from Breaux, and we need a pass rusher. We also potentially get 4 starters back from injury last year.

We've done a pretty good job of acquiring young talent after gutting the roster. Get this team a DE at 11, and it doesn't have many gaping holes.
