I wouldn't say low risk. You traded a top wr to improve the D and compete today. They absolutely have to hit on these picks.

Better than spending 12 million for a potential bust and needing to eat his cap hit for many years. It's exactly the reason Saints were in cap trouble for years is because they made bad moves like this. Got to get strong through the draft or you'll never compete. Sure, you have the other side to that where he could turn out to be worth it but a draft pick is low risk since you're not paying him anything. At least with a draft pick you can pay him dirt cheap for years and know if he's worth a 50 million contract in your system. I'm at the belief you can't win a SB with a bunch of high paid FAs unless you have amazing depth through the draft which the Saints do not. They have way too many holes to be relying on 12 million a year players. Even in positions we're solid at we still need depth. Injuries are inevitable. We suck at drafting and need to get better.
