The establishment is deathly against the wall. They want open borders for obvious reasons (cheap labor). The corporations are funding Paul Ryan's opposition. And the wall is not necessarily for the Trump administration. They will do a good job of enforcing current immigration law and will control illegal immigration pretty effectively. The wall is for future open border administrations (like Obama's) that will overtly ignore immigration law for cheap labor, NGO pay offs (looking at you Catholic and Moromon churches), and Democrat votes. Their argument about money for the wall is a lie. They are simply worried about the physical barrier and problem it presents with getting people to cross it.

I don't necessarily disagree with your reasoning for illegal immigration (although that only scratches the surface).

I am, however, amused at the dog and pony show the establishment is putting on to get you to believe that Trump is in any way opposed to it.
