Well would you feel the same way if they wanted to remove a significant piece of history wherever you call home, for no other reason than to appease a handful of folks who have nothing else better to do than complain about such frivolity. This is all too great theater for ole Mitch as he is able to get the public to focus on this while roads are crumbling and crime runs rampant. He is an ineffective moron on those issues, so instead he chooses to chase these fabricated boogeymen so it can make it seem like he actually does something with his time.

I live in uptown and honestly don't give a frick about these statues. I couldn't tell you the last time I thought about these statues before the topic came up.

I also don't bitch about General Pershing Street either.

I am just playing devil's advocate here, but what if Germans wanted to keep up swastikas and put up statuses of famous people in Hitler's army? It is part of history.. But would you understand why people would be against it?
