Your DAC has to have MQA decoding in order to get the benefit of MQA.
As far as FLAC files go, just download and use MAXX software to convert to AIFF or Apple lossless or whatever else. You can then store it in iTunes.

I have a Meridian AC200 which I am pretty certain does decode MQA.
