I thought that song is about the guy not showing up for his wedding,but he still wants to have relations with the girl he jilted.

You left out this part: I aint ready for the alter,but I do agree there's times,when a woman sure can be a friend of mine.
The way I translate the song,it's pretty damn Alpha.
