I think you need to check yourself. To me, maturity isn't being a stick in the mud who hates fart jokes and listens to classical music. Maturity is having your shite together. Cooking your own meals, scheduling your own dentist appointments, paying your own bills. That's maturity. You can be mature and still stay up until 1am on a weeknight doing bong rips and playing overwatch.

So much this.

I think too many people think "maturity" is getting married, having kids, having a 9-5 job, etc.

Maturity to me is living independently without having to rely on others. Being a logical and rational human being. Being open minded and able to think for oneself.
