Hopefully the store owner gets a shipment of Newports in and marks them up. He'll make a fortune.

Not that familiar with this shooting. The details online don't sound too favorable for the po po.

ETA: looks like I might not have gotten the whole story.

How many people have cops shot this year in BR? How many people have black people shot this month? I'm sure some of these organizers are well-intentioned individuals, but they would be better off starting a truancy program in their community rather than demanding "justice" for a justified police shooting.

Stop black on black crime right? Since black people are far more likely to kill each other than be killed by a police officer wrongly

2016 Police Statistics accross all 50 states: 950 shootings.

Chicago by itself:

The city saw a surge in gun violence in 2016: 762 murders, 3,550 shooting incidents, and 4,331 shooting victims, according to a statement released by the department on Sunday.

Justice or else. Sounds reasonable. Anyone wondering what the "or else" is alluding to?

Maybe next time they'll hold a Stop the Killing rally not targeting police but the general killings in the city.
