Hypothetical: If the violence ramps up even more over time, will we eventually get a Fort Sumter level incident that could trigger another civil war?

Auburn is too soon I think, but the way these things are gradually escalating someone on one side or the other is going to get killed eventually.

Good question. I already find myself hoping the peaceful protesters will fight back.
