In over 100 years of unrestricted clinical research, human fetal tissue has
failed to provide a single medical treatment: Human fetal tissue is used for only
0.01% of the over 230 thousand FDA-approved clinical trials—and thus far, no
trials using human fetal tissue have reported positive results for patients.
We have been studying use of human fetal tissue for 100 years? Also it's laughable that they say the research has been unrestricted for that period of time. There are many states which outright ban stem cell research.
There is no way this statement can be true.
The first embryonic stem cells were harvested in 1981 and that was in mice let alone human.
The first Phase 1 clinical trial including embryonic stem cells was started in 2009. So no wonder there haven't been any drugs/ therapies to be used in humans.
This one paragraph is full of lies and misleading statements.
Edited to add: i'm not conding the ethics or behaviors of these abortion clinics. that's uncalled for, but stem cells will definitely have a use in medicine in my lifetime

bullshite. Bush was the first POTUS to allow federal funds for embryonic stem cell research in 2001.
President Bush Is The First President To Provide Federal Funding For Embryonic Stem Cell Research
In 2001, President Bush Set Forth A New Policy On Stem Cell Research That Struck A Balance Between The Needs Of Science And The Demands Of Conscience. In this new era, our challenge is to harness the power of science to ease human suffering without sanctioning practices that violate the dignity of human life.
When The President Took Office, There Was No Federal Funding For Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
Under The Policy Announced Five Years Ago, This Administration Became The First To Make Federal Funds Available For This Research. Federal funding was made available for research only on human embryonic stem cell lines derived from embryos that had been destroyed before the announcement of the President's policy. The Administration has made available more than $90 million for research on these lines, allowing important research to go forward without using taxpayer funds to encourage the further deliberate destruction of hum
