Family, slower pace of life, cheaper, solitude can be easy to find. I definitely could and probably will at some point. As stated above Ruston and that area is booming right now under their new mayor. I have also heard great things about the new charter school they built in Union Parish if that's close enough to "home" (I understand the good school options are limited in NCLA). I know it's quite impressive to look at when I'm coming up on the lake headed to the camp. If the opportunity presented itself I think the hardest thing for me would be adjusting to life with limited internet options . I have heard the city of Ruston is starting to get fiber, so that's always an option.
