One of them is flamboyount and open.. another is clearly in the closet, another's gayness is used to show how oblivious clay is to his surrounding.. the other is an afterthought with one line used to show the fear of the one in the closet.. I was counting the lesbo at the school but there is also Tony's boyfriend
While the numbers are scewed when compared to normal society it's worth noting that they are used within the story to show different aspects of teenage life..
