GREAT get! His ability and experience will be HUGE in 2018. DL rotation is going to be stout with Alexander, Lawrence, Logan, Shelvin and Fehoko...and others.

So what's the story with this guy? Why is he transferring from Texas Tech?

Fehoko was an impact performer for Texas Tech, starting all 25 games and registering 38 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and two sacks in his first two seasons. And with the NFL on his radar, Fehoko told Kipp Adams of 247Sports on Sunday that he ultimately was looking for a program capable of furthering his development.
quote:

"...I just wanted to see how I could make their program better and how they would help me reach my ultimate goal of making it to the NFL," he said. "I wanted to see how I would be developed—I played in the Big 12 and wanted to play in the SEC. This redshirt year will be big for me before the 2018 season so I just want to see how much development I would get as a player." Clearly, he felt LSU was the best program to advance that goal.

He wants to play for a real defense in a real conference.

and to improve his draft stock.

Between this guy, Rashard Lawrence, Ed Alexander and Shelvin, the middle should be shut the frick down in 2018. Not to mention our linebacker group should be among the SEC's/Country's best after our young guys get seasoned this year.
