ATL, there is more chatter on the board about Jrue wanting out...is there any solid intel on this?
So damn frustrating to loose players without compensation...see Ryno...

The only "legit" thing I've seen is a poster on PR saying he's heard from insiders that they see some signs he may want out. I put legit in quotes because I don't think he was lying or attention whoring, but the details were so vague they could fit anything from a naturally pessimistic insider seeing what he wants to see to Holiday being coached by his agent to act in a way that makes the team think he could be leaving and up it's initial offer.
Demps putting a high initial offer on the table is important to Holiday's agent. If Demps says "go shop around and let me know what you get", Holiday's agent has to actually get offers from teams asking for their best offer, which they'd possibly lowball. But if Holiday's agent can say "NOLA is offering $22 million, can you beat it?" they probably get better offers which they can then take back to the Pels and try and get even more.
