I am going to the eybl event next weekend in va. Any recruiting gurus on here who know who we are after and what aau they play for? Also does anyone know if Coach wade is going? There is usually 200 mill plus in coaches salaries in attendance, but I never saw Johnny Jones the last 5 yrs I was there.

I drive by the Boo Williams center every Monday morning when I leave Langley AFB. Who is Boo Williams and what is the big deal?

Stupid question, but who will be the top unsigned players there?

I would imagine he was able to gain some inroads in VA during his two years at VCU.

This is a top event. Used to go annually. All the top coaches will be there. I've had Caliparri, Roy Williams, Alford and others at my games there. In my experience there it was mostly east coast coaches there, with some exceptions. Boo Williams has been involved in youth basketball for years. One of the top names in the business, if not the top name after the shoe guys. He used to be a big wig with AAU, and also sells insurance. Nice guy too. The area isn't the nicest in the world though, so don't expect too in that way. I guess aau basketball wasn't set up to be a resort though lol.

As far as who will be there this year, I have no idea! Have fun, and enjoy the talent!

I've been a few times and it is a premier event for sure. Boo is a super nice guy and runs a great team that is composed of mostly VA & NC guys. Usually finishes at or near the top of AAU championships in various categories (U16, U17 & U18)...

Louisiana doesn't have an EYBL team this summer but there will be at least a few kids out there.

Houston Hoops - Javonte Smart and Greg Williams
Rodney Hood MS Express - Jared Butler

Hard to know this early in the process who Wade has identified as targets. Will be in DC (Powerade) myself this weekend then Indy the following weekend (UA, Nike, Powerade will all be there).
