Trump created leverage with tough campaign talk on china. Now that he's met with Xi, china suddenly looks like a powerful new ally and Trump has backed off of his rhetoric.
Anyone who can't see what's going on here is willfully ignorant, or just a garden variety liberal.

China is not our ally, nor will it ever be. Were more along the lines of business partners. South Korea is also a business partner of China and the US. War is bad for business. Trump is a deal maker, and China got something for some measure of support, likely at the cost of someone else.

Trump created leverage?
China had ALL THE LEVERAGE when it came to North Korea. They win regardless. North Korea causing all this chaos forces the United States to waste resources and time monitoring them all the time. China is in no threat from North Korea mate.
If we take out North Korea China will tell us to get the freak out of the area for good. No way in hell if I am China I trust Trump or the Establishment to honor any agreement after North Korea is disposed.
I guarantee you that China has zero interests in being our 'ally' in this situation. They are getting the spoils of this war.
