Yep. I am pretty sure that is an unintended consequence of the walkout. I'm sure they didn't intend to delay things like this.

I thought they were gonna call for a vote to defer until after the audit, but their walking out prevented the vote. I guess I misunderstood.

I'm reading it as they walked out so it wouldn't fail passing. Am I wrong here?

It did but they bolted because the vote would have killed the tax increase going to COA. They are just delaying the inevitable.
