Been playing it for the past few days. It's fricking fun. Wish the campaign was longer though.

I'm having a lot of fun with campaign as well, mainly because I'm enjoying the story. I've never played a previous iteration of Battlefront, so a lot of the complaints that are out there don't really apply to me yet, as I don't really understand what they are complaining about in the first place

That said, SPOILERS:

I am almost done with campaign now. I'm playing the Kylo Ren stuff. Are we to assume that Iden and Del are the parents of Rey? It appears that Del is force sensitive and they are really hammering home the importance of their child.

This campaign has certainly received more scrutiny than Dice's previous efforts, but my problem with it is how Iden continuously takes a back seat to Dice teaching you how to play hero characters.

i doubt Iden and Del have anything to do with Rey's existence. Remember, Iden doesn't exist within the Star War's books or movies. Same with Del. I am pretty certain.

The forgone conclusion is that Rey is a SkyWalker. We assume that she is too young and Luke is too old for him to be her father, seeing how it was 30 some odd years since Luke disappeared out of embarrassment and guilt of Ben Solo (aka Kyle Ren) massacred his Jedi Academy. At some point when Luke formed said Jedi Academy, he fell in love and fathered a child with a female Jedi or another woman. Who then fathered/mothered, Rey. Also, Rey is a naturally good pilot and grew up on a desert planet, like both Luke and his father, Anakin. Strong hints by George Lucas there. In short, the popular assumption is, Luke is her grandfather. Like Darth Vader is Kylo's grandfather.

There is a ton of speculation regarding Rey's creation, but this seems to be the most popular one.
